Events that we have done!

We love to spend time outside of the lab together since we work so much on the final product for competition. We have done all sorts of events and are always looking for more ways to spend time together. From seeing each other in classes to going camping we all enjoy being outside and exploring the place we chose to go to school at. 

Make a Difference Day

MTU puts on a day where student orgs all go out to different places around the Houghton/ Hancock area and do tasks to benefit the community. From raking leaves at residents homes to picking up trash on the Mclain beach, we enjoy participating in the event every year.

 Camping Trip

Every year our team gets together and goes out camping to the Stamp Sands. We attempt to do this quickly into the school year since it gets chilly quick. From bonfires to beach volleyball on the sands, we make the weekend worth wild and spend time bonding!

 Sunset paddles and hiking

Renting canoes from OAP and taking them out on the Portage to enjoy a fall sunset is something else that we started doing and loving. We also go to Brockway mountain to watch another fall sunset. But we go hiking as groups all of the time during the year, being outside is another way that we all get to know and create relationships that last.

Intramural Sports

We participate in make IM's that MTU puts on. With more than one broomball team each we are a group that dominates on the ice.
